About Painting Pro.

Here’s the real story.

​Our journey began in 2016 when I was retrenched from the company that I had been working for, as a contractor managing sales, operations and customer relations. And no, I didn’t get a retrenchment package.

I took over the reins of a painting company, under the guidance of my ex-business partner (who shall remain unnamed, for reasons that you will soon find out). Under his ‘guidance’, I discovered lots of unethical methods which painters and painting contractors alike use to obtain jobs, cut corners, reduce costs, and increase profit margins.

​These unethical methods include diluting paints, using outdoor paints to paint indoor wall (my mother fell for this one just a few months before I entered the industry, on the basis that ‘outdoor paints are better and longer lasting’ – they are not), substituting paints for inferior ones, claiming that they can solve every single paint issue and then disappearing after a hasty job, leaving phone calls and messages unreturned. The list goes on. 

Appalled by such means to deceive customers, and joined at the helm by a dedicated, hardworking and sincere lady (the wonderful Christine), we changed our name to Painting Pro Pte Ltd in 2018 (having cut ties from our ex-business partner, who ended up almost scamming Christine and I (unsuccessfully, thank God) and got into trouble with the law on his own). 

Since then, we have worked extremely hard to build up the reputation of Painting Pro, by putting our best effort into each job, with prompt and dedicated customer service, offering personalised advice, being flexible and meeting the needs and requests of our customers to the best of our ability, providing excellent workmanship with our experienced, trustworthy painters, using only genuine paints and quality painting materials.

And above all, serving each client with integrity. That means never upselling more than that which is necessary and beneficial for the client, substituting paints for cheaper and inferior ones (without customer’s consent or knowledge), nor make any claim/promise that we are not confident of keeping. We will keep our word and provide only genuine advice for the long run on proper wall and paint maintenance so that your house or office can stay fresh and bright for many years to come.
